Hastelloy B-2 has the following characteristics:

Hastelloy plate is suitable for various chemical industries containing oxidizing and reducing media. Higher molybdenum and chromium content make the alloy resistant to chloride ion corrosion, and tungsten further improves the corrosion resistance. At the same time, C-276 Hasloy tube is one of the only materials resistant to the corrosion of wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solution, and has significant corrosion resistance to high concentration of salt chloride solution such as ferric chloride and copper chloride.
