The Inconel 600 has the following characteristics
1. It has good resistance to the corrosion of reduction, oxidation and nitriding media
2. It has good stress corrosion cracking resistance at room temperature and high temperature
3. It has good corrosion resistance of dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride gas
4. Excellent mechanical properties at sub-zero, room temperature and high temperature
5. It has good creep fracture strength and is recommended to be used in the working environment above 700℃. Inconel 600 is a face-centered cubic lattice structure.
Inconel600 application areas include:
1. Thermocouple casing in corrosive atmosphere
2. Vinyl chloride monomer production: resistance to chlorine, hydrogen chloride, oxidation and carbonization corrosion
3. Conversion of uranium oxidation to hexafluoride: resistance to hydrogen fluoride corrosion
4. Areas of production and use of corrosive alkali metals, especially in environments where sulphides are used
5. Titanium dioxide was prepared by chlorine gas
6. Production of organic or inorganic chlorides and fluorides: resistance to chlorine and fluoride corrosion
